In terms of the build, we had already arranged the architect’s and structural engineer’s plans for the conversion, so we were looking for a competitively priced and experienced builder to realise the drawings. Damien proved to be both. From the start Damien was on time, knowledgeable and really approachable. He quoted us for a builder’s finish which meant his team completed all of the structural, electrical and plumbing work and we were responsible for sourcing the bathroom suite, and arranging the decorating and flooring. Damien’s team were great but his foreman (Fatmir) in particular was really impressive: incredibly hard-working, skilled and conscientious (we had a new baby in the house). Fatmir made sure we knew what he was doing, double-checked any queries, always turned up on time and frequently went above and beyond our expectations. During the build, Damien was always available to answer questions and quickly resolved issues when they arose.
